Scott Gordon

MANAGING ATTORNEY

Scott B. Gordon received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) law degree from the University of Utah School of Law over 20 years ago. His principal legal practice has been innovating business solutions and strategies for entrepreneurs. He has acted as in-house legal counsel and business advisor for national and international sales organizations. Scott has also spent much time in Asia and Europe helping clients develop novel solutions and innovating a network of production resources in technology, manufacturing, furniture design, and mobile accessory development.

He is a frequent lecturer and educator for professional organizations, teaching effective negotiation skills, professionalism, and business law application and board certification courses in Utah, California, and across the United States. He has led national marketing teams for several major sales companies for both new products and financial services. In addition, Scott served for several years as a regional CEO for a Fortune 100 company, and he has served on the staff of the Governor of Utah and the Utah Attorney General. He is married and the father of eight wonderful children and five grandsons and one delightful granddaughter. In his free time, he is often engaged in youth service activities.

Richard Gordon

PARTNER

Richard Gordon provides the unique combination of decades of relevant experience as both a lawyer and a businessman. His principal practice has been in corporate, securities, and real estate matters. He has the practical experience of having served as a business founder, director, and manager; plus, he has authored and taught business law courses for universities. His many years of legal and business experience provide him with rare insight into the essential steps for creating and growing a successful business. In particular, he is knowledgeable about the fields of technology, environmental matters, and real estate development.

Richard received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1967; while there, he worked for both the White House and the U.S. Senate. He left Washington D.C. to serve a U.S. Federal Judge before eventually entering the business field. In his free time, he is an avid world traveler, having visited over 125 countries. He has been recognized for his community service and service to youth. He and his wife proudly claim six children and 25 grandchildren.

Benjamin Nelson

ATTORNEY

During his career, Benjamin M. Nelson has focused on providing corporate organization and transaction services to small business and entrepreneurial clients in various industries. Ben excels at recognizing business growth opportunities and helps companies successfully formalize organizational structures, negotiate commercial agreements, implement policies and procedures, and ensure appropriate corporate governance and compliance.

Ben is a cum laude graduate of George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, VA, where he completed the Corporate & Securities Law Concentration. Before law school, Ben earned a B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.

Jennifer Thompson

CLIENT MANAGER

Jen is passionate about taking on new challenges, building relationships with clients, and supporting them. She applies insight, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to serve our clients’ needs and always looks for opportunities to keep us moving forward. She enjoys conducting special projects such as Family Foundation compliance.

Jen came to GBL with over 20 years of customer service experience. She has a background in real estate, bio-medical services, and entrepreneurship. Her goal is to ensure all of our clients know that a friendly contact is only one phone call away.

Dallin C. Littlefield

ATTORNEY - OF COUNSEL

 

Dallin has a variety of experience, including work in pharmacy, real estate, state legislation, business law, government law, and criminal prosecution. He has provided legal counsel to multiple government agencies, counties, and service districts. His eclectic experience provides clients with a broad perspective when considering business strategy and compliance.

Dallin received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA. Prior to that, he received his B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. Dallin is a Utah native and a married father of three children. He enjoys listening to others and helping them achieve their goals through simple, yet innovative means.
